About the position
Crown is looking for all levels of Data Scientists to work on the NAMS-2 project in Mountain View, CA. The role involves identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies found in big data sets by performing extensive data analysis to develop insights. The Data Scientist will perform data mining, cleaning, and aggregation processes to prepare data, implement data models, conduct analysis, and develop databases. Additionally, the role requires interpreting results from multiple structured and unstructured data sources using programming, statistical, and analytical techniques and tools. The Data Scientist will also design, develop, and implement machine learning tools to organize, extract, and present relevant information from a variety of real-world data sets. Collaboration with teams to understand each data analysis project's underlying purpose, focus, and objectives is essential.
Responsibilities
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies found in big data sets by performing extensive data analysis to develop insights.

Requirements
- A Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or equivalent.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in implementing machine learning algorithms for NASA and/or NASA-relevant problems.
- Prefer candidates local to the SF Bay Area.
Benefits
- Salary range of $150,000 - $170,000.
