About the position

The Manager National Account Development (NADM) will be responsible for supporting National Accounts that are under-penetrated or dormant in terms of customer total spend or 'share of wallet' with Ryder. In most cases, accounts that are assigned to an NADM will have a very small percentage of their fleet with Ryder. The NADM's responsibility is to market, build relationships, and generate new revenue with the company branches that are not doing business with Ryder today.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and sell new business related to Ryder products and services such as Ryder full service leasing, managed maintenance services, RydeSmart, insurance coverage, fuel services, or other new services as they become available.
  • Establish ongoing rapport and build relationships with under penetrated Ryder National Account locations.
  • Implement sales strategies and call prioritization to achieve revenue and retention goals.
  • Resolve customer issues by identifying problems and coordinating resources.
  • Document detailed notes in Salesforce.com related to customer's needs and concerns.
  • Achieves assigned new business sales quota of approximately $1.0m in Full Service Leasing (FSL) and Managed Maintenance Solutions (MMS) growth.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent field.
  • Three (3) years or more experience in successful sales experience, including inside sales.
  • Transportation and Logistics Industry experience.
