Davis Frost Front Paint Counter Representative

About the position

We are looking for a friendly and knowledgeable Front Paint Counter Clerk to join our team. As a Front Paint Counter Clerk, you will be the face of our paint department, assisting customers with their paint and supplies needs. You will provide exceptional customer service, help with product selection, mix and match paint, and ensure the department is organized and stocked.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and provide assistance in selecting paint, primers, and other painting supplies.
• Mix custom colors based on customer requests using a variety of paint products.
• Answer customer inquiries about paint products, techniques, and applications.
• Maintain knowledge of paint products, brands, and color trends to offer accurate advice.
• Process transactions, including sales and returns, at the register.
• Ensure that the paint counter area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with products.
• Help customers load their paint and supplies into their vehicles as needed.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking new shipments.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and safety standards.
• Promote sales and special offers to increase customer satisfaction and drive sales.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or in a paint-related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements.
