National DNA Index System (NDIS) Operator/System Administrator

About the position

Concept Solutions is seeking a National DNA Index System (NDIS) Operator/System Administrator to provide system administration and IT operations for the Combined DNA Index System (CODIS) in Quantico, VA. This position is contingent upon contract award. The role involves various responsibilities related to managing and maintaining the CODIS system, ensuring data integrity, and supporting users.

Responsibilities

• Document NDIS Uploads
• Monitor and manage CODIS messages and reports
• Review application event logs and take necessary action
• Verify application backups
• Manage backups jobs
• Archive backups to an offsite location
• Restore backups at COOP sites to ensure backup functionality
• Execute auto-searches and keyboard searches
• Perform SQL Server Database management
• Maintain batch target files
• Maintain user accounts
• Maintain agency configurations
• Ensure antivirus update success
• Verify data expungements
• Interface with help desk and users

Requirements

• Three years' experience as a systems administrator.
• CODIS experience knowledge is Preferred.
• Displays attention to details and has strong time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
• Bachelor of Science Degree.
• Top Secret level security Clearance
