Turning Point Brands, Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager to build and lead the business within a given geography. The Sales Manager will lead a team of salespeople to drive revenue, motivate their teams to generate leads, build client relationships, set targets to hit or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs. This role involves recruiting, training, and developing team members while being accountable for the overall performance management of the assigned team. The Sales Manager will evaluate sales performance and market/industry trend data by analyzing available internal and external sources and communicating insights when appropriate. Additionally, they will maximize execution and utilization of marketing plan programs and promotions to achieve desired results with targeted wholesale, chain, and retail customers, developing and building upon business partnerships with key customers to maximize business performance. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key business clients is essential, as is regular communication with clients to resolve queries and promote product innovation.
