About the position

The National Sales Manager (NSM) at Kept Companies is responsible for enhancing the market position of CarePro National Painting and driving sales revenue growth on a national scale. This role involves developing strategic sales goals, building key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and negotiating business deals while maintaining a strong understanding of the facilities industry.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new clients through various methods including cold-calling, email, and social media.
  • Develop relationships with new clients and set sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing support from a sales perspective.
  • Work with the Executive Vice President of Sales and other teams to generate and manage new business.
  • Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities in the facilities industry.
  • Identify potential clients and decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Set up meetings with client decision-makers in facilities leadership positions.
  • Plan approaches and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Assist in gathering essential information for estimating purposes.
  • Attend trade shows and industry functions to create brand awareness and sales opportunities.
  • Participate in weekly strategy meetings with corporate staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a comparable position.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a related field.
  • 2-4+ years of Facilities Services sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in selling single-service, multiple service, or bundled-service solutions.
