NBC Boston Programming Intern - Summer 2025

About the position

As an intern at NBCUniversal, you will assist with planning community meetings and functions, research feature opportunities for community segments and shows, and write engaging solution-focused articles for station websites. You will also assist with the planning and setup of dynamic live shots in the community and act as a thought leader on digital community engagement opportunities. The role requires demonstrating good judgment, resourcefulness, confidence, and a positive attitude in response to viewer comments and requests. You will utilize Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other programs in the execution of assignments, managing multiple assignments with short deadlines. Proficiency in Spanish writing and speaking is a plus.

Requirements

• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal
• Need to be able to work on-site in Needham, MA

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) both written and verbal
• Previous internship experience or on-campus involvement
• Strong interest in and demonstrated knowledge of current affairs
