About the position

The NC/CNC Programmer is responsible for reading and interpreting design blueprints, programming CNC machines, and adjusting machine settings to meet desired specifications. This role requires collaboration with production and quality teams to ensure that proper build books are created in a timely manner to meet production needs. The programmer will utilize their expertise in CNC programming and CAD/CAM to develop shop tooling and procedures, as well as work on developing build books that guide the manufacturing process. Additionally, the programmer will read and interpret blueprints and work closely with engineering teams to improve overall shop processes. This position also involves providing technical guidance to hourly employees, ensuring that they have the support needed to execute their tasks effectively.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED plus a minimum of 3 years working in a manufacturing environment)
  • Minimum 1 year of CNC programming experience
  • CAD / CAM experience
