About The Position

The C# Developer will join an Electrical Distributor client in Irving, TX, focusing on business analytic tools and high-quality software development. Initially, the developer will be part of the production support team to understand the environment before transitioning to the development team. The role involves collaboration with program managers, product owners, and scrum teams to create custom reporting software.

Requirements

• C# with .NET Framework v4.8.0+ (Creating testable code and writing unit tests)
• Object-oriented programming using C# in Visual Studio IDE
• Experience with protocol buffers between gRPC client and gRPC server
• T-SQL (Stored procedures, complex joins, inserts, updates, optimization techniques, experience with normalization and relational database design, experience with database projects in Visual Studio)
• GIT Repositories leveraging Microsoft DevOps
• Extremely organized, motivated, and able to work with a sense of urgency
• Expert in debugging code
• SSRS experience
• Business analytic tools (like Looker, Power BI, MicroStrategy)
• Front end development (WinForms, Blazor, Angular)
• Testing frameworks (Moq, NUnit, Selenium)
• ETL using C# and/or SSIS
• Experience in the wholesale distribution industry
• Knowledge of software design patterns (MVP)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features for client-server applications.
• Work collaboratively with scrum teams and product owners to identify new features and squash bugs.
• Coordinate with scrum teams to report progress, enhancements, and defects to key stakeholders.
• Participate in all aspects of the development cycle, including feature planning, peer code reviews, and quality assurance.
