About the position
The ASP.NET Developer position is focused on application development and maintenance support within a hybrid work environment. The role involves ensuring efficient system operations and managing all aspects of the systems development life cycle (SDLC), including research, analysis, planning, development, and implementation of automated solutions. The developer will also mentor junior developers and recommend potential applications for the Internet/Intranet.
Responsibilities
- Provide application development and maintenance support activities for the department.
- Ensure the development of efficient system operations across various technical and information system areas.
- Manage all systems development life cycle (SDLC) activities including research, analysis, evaluation, planning, development, implementation, and delivery of automated solutions.
- Identify and recommend potential Internet/Intranet applications.
- Assure compliance with both application and website standards.
- Mentor less senior application developers.
Requirements
- 6 years of experience in ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core.
- 3 years of experience in WCF.
- Strong UI design skills.
- 6 years of experience in API design.
- 6 years of experience in SQL.
Nice-to-haves
- DB design experience.
- Experience with Entity Framework.
- Knowledge of AJAX.
- .NET Certification.
- Experience with SQL Stored Procedures.
