About the position

As a Manager on the NFTS, PSG team at Deloitte, you will lead the design, analysis, development, implementation, and deployment of data-driven web applications. This role combines project management responsibilities with technical oversight, requiring you to mentor team members and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with clients and other development teams to address business problems and maintain existing systems while fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, develop, implement, and deploy new data-driven web applications.
  • Provide support for existing systems and deliver end-to-end web solutions for moderate to complex projects.
  • Conduct code reviews and unit testing of new development, creating unit test plans and scenarios.
  • Review project requirements and estimate time-to-completion for tasks.
  • Document new developments, procedures, or test plans as needed.
  • Interact with other development teams to ensure a consistent approach to software development.
  • Develop and maintain software frameworks and services using the .NET framework and Microsoft technologies.
  • Prepare technical design documents using enterprise standard documentation tools.
  • Deploy integration artifacts to testing and production environments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience in .NET programming.
  • Experience in web design and development in Microsoft technologies (.NET 3.5 or higher).
  • Experience with VP.Net, C#, Ajax, XML/XSLT/XPATH, ADO.NET, VB.NET, MVC, Angular.js, and Object-oriented programming.
  • Bachelor's degree in business information systems, computer science, or a similar degree.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MSCD).
  • Strong project management experience using Agile/SCRUM processes.
  • Knowledge of secure software development best practices.
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of .NET fundamentals (e.g., interfaces, inheritance).
  • Experience developing ASP.NET web services, windows services, and WCF.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2012 or higher and database design.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of QlikView, HTML5, jQuery, and Kendo.
  • Experience working in a Financial Services environment.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment.
