Cognizant is seeking a Senior/Lead .NET Developer to join their IT team in Atlanta, GA. This role involves developing and maintaining applications using .NET technologies, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality code through testing and debugging. Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code for applications using .NET Framework/Core/microservices.
• Work with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational databases, developing queries and stored procedures.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs or web services to interact with other applications or systems.
• Write and run unit tests to ensure the application meets required standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and project managers to understand application requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile or Scrum teams, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of strong experience in .NET technologies including C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases, with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing performance.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like Rally or Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
