The Business Network Design Services (BNDS) team within Enterprise Technology is responsible for designing and implementing network infrastructure that supports various business units. This includes services such as LAN, MAN, WAN, internet, Wi-Fi, and voice networks. Our engineers work closely with other technical teams to provide comprehensive network services, collaborating with strategy/architecture teams, network operations, global information security, and cloud teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to build networks that support Disney's renowned business units, including filmed and TV production, media and broadcast, and content distribution. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is a problem solver, creative, and possesses a strong sense of ownership and initiative. The ideal candidate will have excellent collaboration and communication skills and a keen interest in continually learning new networking technologies. As a Network Engineer II, you will provide network design and consulting services, develop network design plans, and drive the implementation of network solutions. This hybrid role requires a balance of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and project management capabilities. You will work closely with senior engineers and leadership to serve as a liaison between Enterprise Technology and the business units, ensuring that technical strategies align with business needs.
