In this role, you be responsible for the successful implementation, integration and support of a multi-site classified network with a variety of different locations and vendor hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and troubleshoot computer systems.
  • System Administration.
  • Workstation and server configuration.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Working with the SysAdmin and DevSecOps software team to maintain/update the database systems.
  • Conduct trade studies and install/build rack mounted systems.

Requirements

  • Final Secret clearance prior to start and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
  • Hands-on experience designing, deploying and managing LAN and WAN networks.
  • Experience with Linux/RHEL.
  • Experience with Cisco routing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Sound knowledge of network architecture, topologies, engineering, design, implementation, and testing.
  • Familiarity with communication products including router, switches, firewalls, Domain Name Servers (DNS) and data encryption products.
  • Certifications in the industry vendors Cisco (CCNA).
  • Understanding of standard DoD security practices such as, STIG/RMF compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts.
  • Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools.
  • Network and Linux/RHEL automation utilizing Ansible.
  • Virtualization utilizing VMWare.
  • Document existing and new network architectures using Visio.
  • Experience with Agile.
