About The Position

The Network Engineer will oversee and manage the infrastructure of the regional enterprise network, ensuring alignment with global standards. This role involves making design changes to the network infrastructure, managing advanced Tier 3 support issues, and optimizing and securing the network. Collaboration with regional and global teams is essential, along with flexibility for support during off-hours in case of business continuity or cybersecurity events.

Requirements

• 5+ years supporting a diverse regional network environment.
• Bachelor's degree or combination of training and experience.
• 5+ years experience or training in a range of network devices and services including Wide Area and Local Area Networks.
• 7+ years experience or training with a range of server hardware & software with a focus on Microsoft products.
• Significant technical knowledge of networking in manufacturing.
• 5+ years knowledge of industry standard servers, switches, wireless gear and their setup and configurations.
• Management of firewalls and routers.
• Managing access control based on company policy.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCDP, CompTIA Network+, VCP-NV, AWS CAN, Azure Network Engineering, ITIL.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service requests per established service level agreements (SLAs).
• Serve as Tier 3 technical support for all areas of the network.
• Provide project support and guidance for the design of overall infrastructure areas as needed.
• Manage the installation and configuration of new servers, software, and hardware as required.
• Monitor and manage WAN/LAN for errors and recommend improvements as needed.
• Regional responsibility for management of anti-virus, anti-ransomware, and Microsoft update services.
• Administration and management of remote access systems, including access and new employees' permissions.
