Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with ManTech! ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer I to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position. As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter's effectiveness. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic network issues, keeping our systems running smoothly
  • Monitor network performance, ensuring maximum availability and reliability for our users
  • Collaborate with a talented team to implement innovative network solutions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 0-5 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Familiarity with network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+
  • Experience with network monitoring tools to keep a pulse on performance
  • Knowledge of wireless networking to support modern connectivity needs
  • Strong problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-on
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to thrive in a collaborative environment
