Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with ManTech! ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer I to join our team in MacDill Tampa. This position is onsite. As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter's effectiveness. Responsibilities

Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity
Troubleshoot and resolve basic network issues, keeping our systems running smoothly
Monitor network performance, ensuring maximum availability and reliability for our users
Collaborate with a talented team to implement innovative network solutions.

Requirements

High School Diploma
0-5 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role
Basic understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
Familiarity with network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls

Nice-to-haves

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+
Experience with network monitoring tools to keep a pulse on performance
Knowledge of wireless networking to support modern connectivity needs
