About the position

The Network Operations Specialist at Crown Castle is responsible for managing and executing various project assignments within a designated district or region. This role involves assisting and sometimes leading project teams in tracking and reporting budgets and schedules, ensuring that all deliverables are met efficiently. The specialist will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support multiple projects to enhance operational performance and process efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of deliverables and supporting workflows.
  • Provide support across multiple projects to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project tasks.
  • Manage small scale projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution.
  • Develop and modify project plans as needed, directing the close-out of completed jobs.
  • Attend project meetings to provide job status reports and address conflicts or issues.
  • Ensure leadership and cross-functional team members are informed of issues impacting project completion or costs.
  • Obtain and maintain all requisite documents related to projects.
  • Manage vendor relationships where applicable.
  • Lead internal and external deployment meetings with project teams.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical degree preferred.
  • Two years of related experience in project management or coordination.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-facing project coordination experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of telecommunications/wireless project management and asset management.
  • Familiarity with public and private right of way project deployment and site acquisition procedures.
  • Ability to manage and process multiple data streams.
  • Understanding of financial metrics and ability to identify remedies to financial issues.
