About the position

The Transportation/Logistics/Supply Chain Specialist at Ampcus, Inc. is responsible for supporting the procurement and supply chain operations within a healthcare setting. This role focuses on data entry, validation, and minor analytics related to hospital supply chain activities, ensuring efficient procurement of capital equipment and medical supplies. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to optimize purchasing processes and maintain financial compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and validation tasks related to supply chain operations.
• Conduct minor analytics using Excel to support supply chain decision-making.
• Assist in procurement tasks for capital equipment and medical supplies.
• Engage with stakeholders including Construction, Facilities, Finance, and Medical Center Leadership.
• Manage supplier performance and ensure service excellence in procurement activities.
• Participate in project management and strategy development for supply chain initiatives.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers to maximize value for the organization.
• Track and manage orders, ensuring timely delivery and invoicing accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience required.
• 2+ years of supply chain experience specific to healthcare or healthcare adjacent required.
• 3 years of experience in a buyer role or procurement of capital equipment.
• 5 years of experience in capital equipment or construction preferred.
• Operational understanding of hospital supply chain processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Workday (2+ years preferred).
• Familiarity with lower-level analytics in supply chain contexts.
