The Chief of Urology at Northern Westchester Hospital is a leadership role focused on overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a culture of scholarship within the department. The position requires collaboration with medical staff and hospital management to maintain and enhance departmental excellence and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Work with the chair on all matters related to clinical operations.
• Ensure high quality patient care through development and standardization of care processes and protocols.
• Continue to develop a culture of scholarship in quality improvement, health equity, and outcomes.
• Ensure the productivity of physician faculty and support staff.
• Maintain and improve upon the excellence within the department.

Requirements

• M.D. Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine.
• Completion of residency and fellowship with Board Certification or eligibility.
• Currently licensed as a physician in the State of New York.
• Outstanding communication and management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, hospital management, and staff.
• Previous division, department, or program leadership experience.
