About the position

The Siemens NX CNC Programmer - C13 Support position is a critical role that provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical expertise. The individual in this role will be responsible for establishing technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility, ensuring that all processes meet the necessary standards for quality and efficiency. This includes planning, creating, verifying, and revising Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation that directs operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment. This equipment is essential for the manufacturing and inspection of parts, tools, and assemblies within the department. In addition to the technical aspects, the CNC Programmer will also plan and guide the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods. This includes evaluating and implementing new processes, software, and equipment that can enhance productivity and quality in manufacturing operations. The role requires a strong understanding of machining principles and the ability to apply this knowledge to real-world manufacturing challenges. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in CNC programming and machining, with a focus on using Siemens NX software. They will be expected to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all programming and machining tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Establish technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with UG NX programming for 3-5 axis machining centers.
• 2 years of experience with Vericut software.
• Machinist experience is required.
• Education typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Associate degree) and typically 3 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
