About the position
QuadMed is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team providing care at our Dart MyCare Wellness Center located in Horse Cave, KY. This is a PRN/As-Needed role that focuses on quality of care rather than productivity. The position involves working with a commercially insured patient base in an outpatient setting with a focus on preventative medicine. The average patient panel size is up to 10 patients per day, with each appointment lasting approximately 40 minutes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients who are challenged to be engaged and responsible for their own care in a collegial environment.
Requirements
- Completed a Master's Degree level Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited college/university
- At least three years primary care practice experience
- Experience with pediatric patients is a plus
- Phlebotomy experience may be required at times
