Nurse (OB/GYN)

About the position

This position is for a Physician within the Federal system, specifically located in Chinle, AZ; Kayenta, AZ; Gallup, NM; and Shiprock, NM. The role requires a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Candidates must have a current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physician. Additionally, applicants must have completed at least one year of supervised clinical experience, such as an internship or the first year of a residency program. The position is open from February 10, 2025, to January 31, 2026, and applicants must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical services in a clinical setting.
• Supervise and train medical interns and residents.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physician.
• At least 1 year of supervised experience in a clinical setting.
• Board Certified in the specialty to which the applicant is applying or actively pursuing Board Certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Emergency Medicine.
• Completion of an accredited residency program within the past three years.
• Active pursuit of Board Certification if more than three years have passed since residency completion.
