Nurse (OB/GYN)

About the position

This position is for a Physician in the Federal sector, specifically located in Chinle, AZ; Kayenta, AZ; Gallup, NM; and Shiprock, NM. The role requires a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Candidates must have a current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physician. The position also requires at least one year of supervised clinical experience, such as an internship or the first year of a residency program. Additional qualifications include board certification in the relevant specialty or evidence of active pursuit of board certification if the residency was completed more than three years ago. The application period is from February 10, 2025, to January 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical services in a clinical setting.
• Supervise and train medical interns and residents.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physician.
• At least one year of supervised clinical experience.
• Board certification in the relevant specialty or evidence of active pursuit of board certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Emergency Medicine.
