About The Position

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least 3 months of verifiable experience in all job duties.
• Must be available the entire work period of 02/15/2025-12/15/2025.
• Must agree to work Mon-Fri, 7 hours per day, Sat, 5 hours.
• Must read and agree to all terms and conditions of employment prior to a referral to the employer.

Responsibilities

• Handle manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities.
• Perform planting, digging, mulching, transplanting, cultivating, hoeing, mowing, preparing soil, and watering in nurseries and seasonal holding houses.
• Fertilize, prune, spray, space, water, tag, and perform other plant maintenance tasks.
• Count and inventory plants.
• Propagate plants from cuttings.
• Load finished plants onto wagons and trucks.
• Remove plastic from seasonal holding houses in spring and cover them in fall.
• Assist with building seasonal holding houses.
• Plant and dig field grown plants and perform general maintenance of field grown plants.
• Fill, lift, and carry various size pots with soil.
