About the position
Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, opening in early 2025, will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in over 20 years. This teaching hospital will integrate clinical care with existing providers, including The George Washington University Hospital and the Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. The facility will feature 136 beds (expandable to 184), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and delivery services, an ambulatory pavilion for physician offices and clinics, a community space, a 500-car garage, and a helipad for emergency transports. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist nursing teams in meeting the needs of all customers by performing various tasks and services, including maintaining facilities, providing support functions, and assisting with basic patient care functions while continuously performing in a professional manner.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant Course, two years of nursing school, or other recent comparable education preferred
- Two years of experience as a Nursing Assistant
- Able to speak and write English fluently
- Demonstrated communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
