About the position

The NX CAD Designer at Williams International is responsible for defining and maintaining the Engine Bill of Materials (BOM) configuration and Engine Layout. This role requires expertise in NX CAD to manage engine models and support project development efforts, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Engine BOM structures within the PLM and ERP systems.
• Manage Engine NX CAD models and product definitions.
• Review engineering changes and approve as Layout Engineer for all Engine hardware.
• Communicate effectively in writing and orally with internal and external customers.
• Support project development, qualification, and production efforts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of NX CAD experience with large assemblies and managing bill of materials.
• Experience creating and maintaining assembly tolerance stack-ups.
• Teamcenter experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint).
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
