Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with providers, nurses, social workers, physical therapists, speech language pathologists, and ancillary and support staff.
  • Enhance patients' functional recovery and self-actualization.
  • Provide consultative services and make recommendations.
  • Elevate patient care through unit and system-based quality initiatives.
  • Engage in evidence-based research and practice.
  • Participate in true interdisciplinary care.

Requirements

  • Master's/Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience in a hospital setting required.
  • Must have DC License before start of employment.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals by AHA or Red Cross.
