About the position

River Therapies is a private therapy company located in the FoxChapel community of Pennsylvania, specializing in outpatient, early intervention, and school-based therapy services. Our mission is to serve God by helping children surpass what others said they would never achieve. We are currently seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team, with an opening for a combination position of Early Intervention and Outpatient therapy services. The Occupational Therapist (OT) will provide therapy services to the birth to three populations in Allegheny County, in the child's least restrictive environment, such as home or daycare, as well as at River Therapies outpatient clinic. As a member of the therapy department, the OT will collaborate with other therapeutic staff, family members, and Service Coordinators in the Early Intervention setting, while also reporting to our administration staff at River Therapies. In the outpatient setting, the OT will work alongside other therapeutic staff and family members to promote OT-related goal achievement for each patient. This role is vital in ensuring that children receive the necessary support and therapy to thrive in their development. The responsibilities include providing daily occupational therapy sessions to patients identified as requiring services, completing daily documentation, conducting evaluations and re-evaluations as needed, and preparing progress reports along with all other required paperwork for early intervention in Pennsylvania. Maintaining required communication with families is essential for the betterment of each patient, and regular meetings with administration staff will be held to discuss caseloads, answer questions, and promote overall employment success.
