The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a passionate and dynamic Public Health Administrator to develop and lead our Maternal and Child Health (MCH) surveillance teams! In this pivotal supervisory role, you will guide a team of seven as they conduct the Child and Maternal Death Review, the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS), and the Home Visiting Performance Management System (N-MIECHV) Teams. In addition, you will provide leadership to the MCH programs and serve as a core member of the Maternal and Child Health Block Grant, as they seek to make data informed decisions. You will play a crucial part in ensuring robust MCH epidemiological functions by managing data systems, conducting insightful analyses, and vital reporting, all while fostering workforce development. As a collaborative leader, you will identify capacity gaps, strategize budgets, and coordinate resources to meet the evolving data needs of our MCH initiatives and work to develop and support a team of public health professionals.
