About the position

The Office Clerk at Bunzl is responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring efficient office operations. This role involves handling communication, processing paperwork, and assisting with various office tasks to support the overall functioning of the office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and greet visitors
  • Provide overall administrative support, including preparation of spreadsheets and documents
  • Scan and maintain all delivery and receiving paperwork daily
  • Process all incoming and outgoing mail, including FedEx when needed
  • Back up Accounts Receivable by contacting customers regarding account balances, answering A/R calls, sending collection notices, and coordinating releasing credit holds when needed
  • Process customer credits and promotion credits
  • Assist office with general tasks, office support, and other projects as assigned
  • Assist with Onboarding and Orientation

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of warehouse clerical or customer service experience a plus
  • Ability to effectively work in a Windows environment with experience in Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solver with the ability to utilize sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent detail-oriented customer service skills
  • Must be able to multi-task with the ability to change direction quickly and often
