About the position

The Office Clerk position at GDKN involves various administrative tasks, primarily focused on managing phone communications and assisting with office operations. The role is essential for ensuring efficient communication within the organization and requires attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Answering phones and directing callers to the appropriate program area.
  • Keeping a call log to track the number of calls received and what program area they are received for.
  • Preparing a monthly report of all calls and walk-ins to provide to the Supervisor by the 3rd of each month.
  • Sending a weekly call list to the Supervisor documenting the number of calls received.
  • Completing the ACCESS Interview spreadsheet and emailing it to appropriate recipients twice daily.
  • Preparing FedEx envelopes for mail being sent to Tallahassee.
  • Creating new employee IDs and ensuring they are mailed timely.
  • Receiving all packages from FedEx, UPS, Office Depot, Staples, and any other carrier.
  • Determining package ownership and notifying the respective person via email that the package has been received and is available in Suite 1129.
  • Assisting employees in receiving paper paychecks biweekly, ensuring they are kept secure and only provided to the employee or identified representative.
  • Completing any other tasks requested by the Supervisor, Communications Director, and/or Regional Managing Director.

Requirements

  • Ability to use a computer and email system.
  • Knowledge of general office equipment.
  • Fluency in Spanish (Required).
  • Ability to commute to Orlando, FL (Required).
