About the position

The Office Coordinator at Optibelt Corporation is a part-time role focused on ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, supporting the management team with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respect in all interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors and clients, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Filing and maintaining an organized working environment.
  • Provide invoice copies on request and maintain records and invoices.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
  • Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in human resource, business administration, or related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Preferably bilingual (English and Spanish).
  • Knowledge of basic accounting.
