About the position

The On Premise Premium Spirits Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing and growing the Bond & Royal portfolio of brands within the independent on-premise space. This role focuses on 30 premium spirit brands and aims to drive overall growth for Sazerac. The manager will build and maintain influential account relationships, enhance distribution, secure menu placements, and lead educational initiatives at various levels, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the Bond & Royal portfolio of brands in the independent on-premise space.
• Achieve monthly quotas for account visits set by the general manager.
• Meet assigned KPIs including distribution, menu placements, and volume initiatives.
• Increase Sazerac's presence in the account universe.
• Conduct industry-leading educational seminars for on-premise influencers and distributors.
• Deliver brand-specific training to wholesale partners.
• Provide cocktail suggestions, wait staff training, and drink pairing ideas.
• Manage promotional budget and track expenses effectively.
• Monitor inventory, sales, and program execution with distributors.
• Participate in monthly ride-alongs with wholesalers to build networks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old with a valid Driver's License.
• Minimum 3 years of on-premise sales experience in the alcohol beverage industry.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends).
• Working knowledge of the three-tier beverage alcohol distribution system.
• Familiarity with luxury spirit brands and marketing.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
• WSET, CSS or comparative certifications.
