About the position
American Classical Leadership Education is all about nurturing future leaders based on the principles of liberty. At John Adams Academy, we've created a unique educational model inspired by the teachings that shaped the great leaders who founded our nation. We're excited to find a friendly, full-time, on-site substitute teacher with experience in grades 7-12. You would need to be in the classroom as needed during the day for a few hours or several days. In this role, you'll not only teach but also help coordinate other substitute teachers for both short-term and long-term assignments. Plus, you'll play a vital part in supporting our front office staff with breaks, absences, and other tasks as needed by our secondary administration. Join us in making a positive impact!
Responsibilities
- Teach students in grades 7-12 as needed.
- Coordinate other substitute teachers for short-term and long-term assignments.
- Support front office staff with breaks and absences.
- Assist secondary administration with various tasks.
Requirements
- Experience teaching grades 7-12.
- Valid CA credential or Emergency 30-day substitute credential.
- Clear DOJ LiveScan.
- Proof of current TB clearance.
