About the position

As a Manager at Deloitte within the Finance & Enterprise Performance Offering, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and other key executives. Your primary responsibility will be to advise, implement, and deliver service solutions that help clients develop strategies and capabilities for enterprise-wide decision-making, enhance finance operations, and create significant impacts within their organizations. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to manage and deliver components of client engagements effectively. In this role, you will manage teams tasked with identifying business requirements, functional design, and process design, which includes scenario design and flow mapping. You will also be involved in prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures. Your responsibilities will extend to formulating planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting strategies, as well as managing end-to-end implementations. You will be responsible for developing statements of work and client proposals, identifying business opportunities to enhance the usability and profitability of information architecture, and managing vendor relationships. Additionally, you will lead workshops aimed at client education and oversee resources and budgets on client projects, ensuring that the team is supported and driven towards success. This position requires a strong commitment to mentoring junior staff and a willingness to gain exposure to multiple industries. You will be expected to implement technology-enabled business solutions as part of a high-talent team, leveraging your strong oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in MS Visio and MS PowerPoint. Your problem-solving and troubleshooting skills will be essential in exercising mature judgment and collaborating effectively with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver components of client engagements by identifying, designing, and implementing technology and creative business solutions for large companies.
  • Manage teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, and process design, including scenario design and flow mapping.
  • Formulate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting strategies.
  • Manage end-to-end implementations and develop statements of work and/or client proposals.
  • Identify business opportunities to increase usability and profitability of information architecture.
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships and lead workshops for client education.
  • Manage resources and budget on client projects and provide oversight to support and drive the team.

Requirements

  • 6+ years relevant experience implementing one or more EPM technologies, specifically OneStream.
  • 1+ years' experience as a OneStream Certified Lead Architect.
  • 2+ years' experience leading and managing project teams.
  • Experience with program leadership, governance, and change enablement.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Strong functional knowledge around financial systems and processes.
  • Proven skills as a team member, team lead, or project manager on at least one full life cycle implementation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage small engagements or parts of large engagements.
  • Willingness to mentor junior staff.
