About the position

As a OneStream Manager at Deloitte, you will play a pivotal role in the Finance & Enterprise Performance Offering, acting as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and other key executives. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and deliver components of client engagements, focusing on identifying, designing, and implementing technology and creative business solutions tailored for large companies. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, as you will oversee teams in various aspects of project execution, including business requirements identification, functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures. In this role, you will also be responsible for formulating planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting strategies, ensuring that all implementations are managed end-to-end. You will develop statements of work and client proposals, identify business opportunities to enhance the usability and profitability of information architecture, and cultivate vendor relationships. Additionally, you will lead workshops aimed at educating clients and manage resources and budgets on client projects, providing oversight and support to your team throughout the process. Your experience in implementing EPM technologies, particularly OneStream, will be crucial as you navigate the complexities of client needs and project demands. You will be expected to travel up to 50% based on the work you do and the clients and industries you serve, making flexibility and adaptability key components of your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver components of client engagements by identifying, designing, and implementing technology and creative business solutions.
  • Oversee teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures.
  • Formulate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting strategies.
  • Manage end-to-end implementations of projects.
  • Develop statements of work and/or client proposals.
  • Identify business opportunities to increase usability and profitability of information architecture.
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships.
  • Lead workshops for client education.
  • Manage resources and budget on client projects.
  • Support and drive the team by providing oversight.

Requirements

  • 6+ years relevant experience implementing one or more EPM technologies, specifically OneStream.
  • 1+ years' experience as a OneStream Certified Lead Architect.
  • 2+ years' experience leading and managing project teams.
  • Experience with program leadership, governance, and change enablement.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Strong functional knowledge around financial systems and processes.
  • Proven skills as a team member, team lead, or project manager on at least one full life cycle implementation.
  • Ability to work independently, manage small engagements, or parts of large engagements.
  • Willingness to mentor junior staff.
  • Committed to gaining exposure to multiple industries.
  • Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Ability to collaborate with clients.
