About The Position

The Onsite Program Manager at Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is responsible for leading project planning, governance, compliance, stakeholder engagement, and financial management for the installation requirements of the United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) command and control facilities. This role involves managing program scope, goals, and deliverables while ensuring adherence to policies and regulations, particularly in a Department of Defense (DOD) environment.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience as an Onsite Program Manager supporting a DOD program of similar size and scope ($40M-50M, 35-40 personnel).
  • Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Management experience in an enterprise-level DOD C4I/IT environment with a minimum of 3,000 users.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT related field with at least 15 years of experience managing a program of similar size and scope.
  • Possess IAT/IAM Level II or greater certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security).

Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning and scheduling for USSPACECOM command and control facilities.
  • Manage program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with program managers and functional area managers.
  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance with USSPACECOM policies and security protocols.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the IT program aligned with USSPACECOM objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior USSPACECOM officials.
  • Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring efficient use of financial resources.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the program.
  • Implement a robust issue management process to resolve problems quickly.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to senior leadership.
