About the position

The Operations Agent/Security role is focused on ensuring a high level of service for residents, guests, and service providers at a property. The position involves monitoring control systems, responding to emergencies, maintaining logs, and ensuring a safe environment. This role requires excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle various operational tasks and emergencies effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
  • Monitors Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
  • Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner.
  • Accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
  • Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
  • Works shifts that are subject to change based on property needs.
  • Checks in with the Property Manager during Tropical Storm or Hurricane Watch or Warning.
  • Be courteous and respectful to fellow employees, residents, and guests.
  • Maintains assigned areas in a neat and safe manner.
  • Attends mandatory staff meetings.
  • Supervises moves, deliveries, and checks on the status of unit owner construction.
  • Assists the Receiving Department in keeping deliveries orderly and following regulations.
  • Assists Unit Owners, Residents, and Guests in a courteous manner, referring questions to Management if needed.
  • Retrieves packages for Residents from the Receiving Office as needed.
  • Relieves the Receiving clerk and Front Desk staff as needed.
  • Monitors Valet Personnel for compliance with Association's Guidelines.
  • Checks the First Alarm Panel at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Reports any troubles in writing to the Property Manager immediately.
  • Assists the Property Manager and Administrative Assistant as needed.
  • Responds to mechanical, medical, or police emergencies and assists as necessary.
  • Records all irregularities on an Incident Report.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalency required.
  • FA CPR AED Certification is desirable.
  • Two (2) or three (3) years of experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Strong command of information system hardware/software is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Multiple language fluency is desirable.
