About the position

The Operations and Facility Manager at FFC South Loop is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the fitness facility, ensuring high standards of service and operations. This role includes managing team members, janitorial services, inventory needs, and hiring staff, while also addressing member inquiries and promoting membership benefits. The position requires a passion for health and fitness, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Address member needs during shifts, including account management and facility inquiries.
• Responsible for hiring, scheduling, and coverage of Housekeeping teams.
• Assist the billing team as directed by the Billing Manager.
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales and net membership goals.
• Open and close the club to Photo Ready standards as scheduled by the General Manager.
• Conduct needs analysis and present membership benefits to prospects.
• Build relationships with prospective members through engagement and marketing strategies.
• Maintain proper use of the CRM database and track lead sources.
• Network with members to maximize referrals and promote membership promotions.
• Process all membership contracts and paperwork accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Passion for health and fitness.
• High-level verbal and written communication ability.
• Experience in sales or the fitness industry (at least 2 years preferred).
• Ability to work during 'Closeout' (last 3 days of every month).
• Comfortable interacting with prospective club members both in-person and on the phone.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Google Docs, and email.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a managerial role within the fitness industry.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes.
