About the position

As a Manager in Operations Consulting at PwC, you will specialize in sourcing and procurement, focusing on optimizing processes to drive cost savings and enhance supplier collaboration. Your role involves analyzing client needs, developing operational strategies, and providing guidance to improve procurement efficiency. You will lead projects, mentor team members, and ensure the successful execution of initiatives while upholding professional standards and fostering a culture of integrity and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze client needs and develop operational strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Optimize sourcing and procurement processes to drive cost savings and supplier collaboration.
  • Provide guidance on implementing strategic sourcing frameworks and digital procurement solutions.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and completion.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to define business requirements and design solutions.
  • Oversee junior staff and provide guidance to ensure their development and success on engagements.
  • Coordinate with Change Management teams during system deployment activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement or related areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project management activities and oversee technical development.
  • Extensive knowledge of sourcing and procurement leading practices.
  • Experience in Procure to Pay, Sourcing, Contracting, and Supplier Management modules of GEP.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with system architecture and ERP systems connectivity.
  • Ability to facilitate working sessions with client leads to define business requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in change management activities.
