About the position

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates for the role of Order Selector on the 2nd shift. This position is ideal for individuals who prioritize safety and possess a positive attitude, aiming to thrive in a warehouse environment. The role involves accurately selecting and packaging products for shipment while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products by matching numbers and products
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Follow all safety requirements
• Accurately select products by matching numbers, picking required quantities, and confirming locations using voice audio headset
• Hand stack cases of product in a defined stacking pattern repetitively from floor to pallet throughout the duration of the shift
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Transport stored items from warehouse to plant or pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable)
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening required
