About the position

The Operations Management Program Director at Mentor South Bay plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ARY program(s) while ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals and families. This position is essential for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and fostering a collaborative, mission-driven environment. The Program Director will work closely with the Area and Regional Director to manage a dedicated team, ensuring that staff are well-trained and that financial performance meets organizational goals. The role also involves implementing individual satisfaction enhancement plans and maintaining strong relationships with clients, families, and guardians. The Program Director will be responsible for executing the program's core growth strategy, which includes maintaining or increasing census levels, maximizing utilization and occupancy percentages, and assisting with the development of new initiatives. Additionally, the Program Director will engage with case managers and referral agents, advocating for the individuals receiving support and ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Area and Regional Director to manage day-to-day operations of ARY program(s) and a team.
  • Ensure quality of services delivered and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide supervision to direct staff and ensure staff training is conducted effectively.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with individuals being served, families, and guardians.
  • Implement individual satisfaction enhancement plans to improve service delivery.
  • Execute program core growth strategy to maintain or increase census and maximize utilization and occupancy percentages.
  • Assist with new start development initiatives for the program.
  • Maintain relations with case managers and referral agents, advocating on behalf of individuals receiving support.

Requirements

  • Master's degree required.
  • Licensure required (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LADC-1).
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
