About the position

The Operations Manager at College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring client satisfaction, and fostering a strong company culture. This role involves managing human resources, operational reports, budget management, and fleet maintenance, while also executing marketing plans and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Human resource management including motivating, training, and coaching staff.
• Boost team member awareness of company mission and vision to be measured by achieving team member goals.
• Manage meetings to include morning huddles, captain and all-staff meetings.
• Utilize company software for employees, job scheduling and maintenance.
• Review and audit team paperwork; audit jobs on-site.
• Manage company budget.
• Produce and review operational reports to make operational decisions.
• Execute monthly marketing plans.
• Fleet maintenance management including scheduling maintenance and cleaning of vehicles.
• Plan and execute facility maintenance inside and outside.
• Manage business operations safety and truck safety.
• Utilize systematic hiring and training process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management preferred or equivalent/relevant on-the-job experience.
• 1+ years supervising in a service industry operation preferred.
• Sales, Marketing, and Operations/Systems Management experience preferred.
• Confident and proactive communicator; must be able to manage positive relationships with clients and team members.
• Extremely reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Safety and liability conscious.
• Excellent at multi-tasking.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work positively/effectively with people at all levels.
• Thrive in a fast-paced and growing industry.
