About the position

This position is primarily responsible for reconciling and researching various Operations accounts within standard timeframes. The incumbent reduces risk by identifying out-of-balance situations researching root cause and creating adjusting entries to balance the account. The incumbent may need knowledge of various transaction processes and the ability to research and communicate with a variety of employees to resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

  • Gathers and compiles information from reports, statements and other sources to prepare and balance assigned reconcilements.
  • Researches overdue fund situations by gathering information from the outside sources to determine what adjustments are needed to collect on the funds and then submits the adjustments.
  • Sends written communications to other financial institutions requesting information or for the transfer of funds.
  • Processes information quickly, accurately and in an organized manner while maintaining the flexibility to multi-task and effectively prioritize.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School or GED
  • 5 years of job-related experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • MS Excel - Intermediate Level
  • MS Word - Intermediate Level
  • Accounting concepts and fundamentals
