About the position

CHS Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist in LaMoure, ND. This hybrid role involves driving and operations tasks based on seasonal and business needs, providing essential services to farmers, ranchers, and local businesses. The position emphasizes customer service, product transportation, and operational support within the grain and agronomy sectors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading, including sampling and attaching/detaching hoses.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery/equipment.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks, recording them appropriately.
• Inspect in-use equipment regularly.
• Monitor and maintain inventory quality, including blended, bulk, or packaged products.
• Deliver products such as fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and feed to customer sites safely and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding transportation and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas and vehicles.
• Perform grounds maintenance and warehouse work, including forklift operation.
• Report customer complaints and safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends.

Nice-to-haves

• Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL preferred.
• Agriculture background preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred.
