About the position
The Operations Technician at Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. is responsible for operating and maintaining complex process equipment in a manufacturing plant, specifically for aerospace applications. The role involves troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, making routine adjustments, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate complex process equipment according to training and process documents.
- Maintain equipment that applies coating and/or plating for aerospace applications.
- Assist maintenance in troubleshooting and correcting equipment malfunctions.
- Report any faults to management and maintenance.
- Inspect parts and make minor adjustments to production equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and understand work instructions and technical specifications.
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
- Ability to pass essential job function physical requirements.
- For level II: Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role in a manufacturing and/or aerospace environment.
- For level III: Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role in a manufacturing and/or aerospace environment.
