About the position

The Operations Technician position is a critical role within our Manufacturing Operations team, which is central to our product creation process. We adopt a "Safety First, Quality Always" approach, constantly striving for excellence in all aspects of our operations. Our local plant is an integral part of our global manufacturing network, ensuring the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates, and final products. As an Operations Technician, you will be responsible for operating various equipment and systems essential to our manufacturing processes. This includes operating steam sterilizers, overseeing filling lines and freeze dryers, performing environmental monitoring, managing crimping machines, using dry heat ovens, and preparing and sanitizing equipment. The role also requires regular use of computer systems to monitor and control production processes. You will be expected to wear scrubs in the production area and cleanroom attire in cleanroom environments to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. The position operates on a shift schedule from Wednesday to Sunday, 8 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities

  • Operate steam sterilizers and oversee filling lines and freeze dryers.
  • Perform environmental monitoring to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Manage crimping machines and use dry heat ovens as part of the production process.
  • Prepare and sanitize equipment for use in manufacturing operations.
  • Regularly use computer systems to monitor and control production processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a laboratory or pharmaceutical manufacturing setting is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Microbiology is preferred.
  • Experience in a laboratory or pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
