About the position

The Senior Consultant in Operations & Technology Transformation at Deloitte focuses on delivering innovative technology solutions within the insurance sector, specifically as a Guidewire Developer specializing in ETL and Data Migration. This role involves interfacing with clients to understand their business needs and translating those into effective technology solutions, while also leading project teams through the entire project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Interface between clients and Deloitte teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Define systems strategy and develop system requirements.
• Design and prototype technology solutions to meet clients' business needs.
• Lead testing of custom technology solutions and define support procedures for implementation.
• Manage large Business Integration efforts and project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of consulting or relevant industry experience in Insurance (P&C, L&A / group, Commercial lines, Specialty).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance Solutions with Guidewire or similar packages.
• 4 years of experience in one of the following areas: Insurance Products, Underwriting, Claims, Billing & Payments, Policy Administration or Distribution.
• Experience with at least 4 full life cycle implementations of Large-Scale System Delivery, preferably for Policy Administration, Billing Systems, and/or Claims Systems.
• 1 year of experience estimating and planning Large Scale System Implementations.
• 2 years of experience managing a large Business Integration effort and project team through all project phases.
• 4 years of hands-on ETL experience with Informatica and/or Microsoft SSIS.
• 4 years of experience with Data Mapping or Data Migration.
• 4 years of experience with SQL.
