About the position

The Ophthalmic ASC CRNA position is a full-time role based in Towson, Maryland, offering a competitive salary of $300,000 per year. This position is specifically designed for a senior-level Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) who will work in a multispecialty ambulatory surgery center (ASC) that focuses on ophthalmologic procedures. The work schedule is from 7 AM to 3 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic with no nights, weekends, or holidays required. The ASC features four operating rooms and specializes in various eye surgeries, including cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, corneal surgery, eye muscle surgery, oculoplastics, and vitreoretinal surgery. Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing ophthalmologic procedures.

  • Provide pre-operative assessments and post-operative care to patients.
  • Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient responses.

Requirements

  • Current CRNA certification and licensure in the state of Maryland.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a CRNA, preferably in an ASC or similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of ophthalmologic procedures and anesthesia techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and medical staff.
